Meet the team

Paddy has over 20 years’ experience in funds management, capital raising and transactions. At Kinetic Capital, he focusses on delivering committed, flexible finance for the operational living sector.

He has held senior roles with Colliers, GSA and Principal Europe, co-founded a boutique real estate advisory business in Australia, and launched Protech business Acasa, which was sold in 2021. Paddy is MRICS qualified and studied Land Management at Reading, with executive training at Harvard Business School.

Outside of Kinetic, he supports Pathways to Property, helping young people from under-represented backgrounds enter the real estate industry. He also sits on the Dot Group Executive Leadership team and Credit Committee.

Nick has 19 years’ experience in real estate banking and finance, starting with RBS in 2006. At Natwest, he led the Student Accommodation sector, managing strategy and some of the largest relationships, including structuring the first £500m unsecured facility in the PBSA market.

He has held roles across underwriting, business development and relationship management, and has also taught as a visiting lecturer at the University of the West of England.

Jim has over 30 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate lending, underwriting and active portfolio management, mainly with NatWest and RBS.

Throughout his career, Jim has worked across major development financings, managing a £15bn loan book. He was a member of the Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Board as well as other real estate credit committees, where he had sole responsibility for managing credit and capital allocation within a £1bn PBSA development fund.

At Kinetic Capital, Jim leads due diligence, deal execution and portfolio oversight, building close relationships with clients and mentoring junior members on credit risk.

Louisa brings a wealth of experience as a debt lawyer, having trained and qualified with Clifford Chance in 2013. She went on to spend six years in the Real Estate Finance team at Mishcon de Reya, where she advised both lenders and sponsors on a broad range of transactions across various asset classes (including student accommodation, co-living and PRS). Prior to joining Kinetic Capital, Louisa served as Assistant General Counsel at Corebridge Institutional Investments for five years, where she provided legal, deal execution and asset management support to their pan-European commercial mortgage lending business.
